Designed for rural Iola, Kansas, the low-rise residential units offer a bikeable complex, rich with community connection and luxurious, sustainable small-town living. With a bike trail carved throughout the site, the complex creates a “filling station” for pedestrians traveling from downtown Iola, to the newly developed state park to the south. With Iola historically developed from oil and gas resources, the bike trail represents a transition between historic and new forms of transportation.
