The Carbon Cottage is a conceptual, net-zero design, constructed by the Kansas State University Solar Decathlon Team. Teaming up with one other designer, the renderings and overall designs were produced, alongside engineering and finance majors also attending Kansas State. This proposal, located in Charleston, West Virginia, qualified within the top ten in the nation of the Solar Decathlon competition, out of 103 participating teams, and 75 collegiate institutions.
