Based on research from a research paper written throughout the semester, this project primarily focuses on the spatial implementation of Post-Impressionist elements and principles, specifically the artistic genius of Vincent van Gogh. By using theoretical analysis such as Vygotsky’s Theory of Creativity, Piaget’s Theory of Cognitive Development, and Sigmund Freud’s Psychoanalytic Theory, it can be hypothesized that if children within the Pre-Operational Stage, early childhood, are immersed within emotional, Post-Impressionist elements, their imaginations will flourish, causing them to be more comfortable within their environments. This project is devoted to increasing creativity and minimizing mental health issues within early educational environments.
